Here’s something to think about it…


With employee engagement, you want to make sure you are addressing the individual needs of your employees such as the need to be fulfilled, appreciated, and connected with their work and workplace. Gallup includes 4 statements in their Q12 survey you want your employees to strongly agree with that address individual needs:

  • At work, I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day.

  • In the last seven days, I have received recognition or praise for doing good work.

  • My supervisor, or someone at work, seems to care about me as a person.

  • There is someone at work who encourages my development.


So, my question to you:

  • Are your individual needs being met?

  • If you’re a manager, are you meeting your employee’s individual needs?
