Here’s something to think about it…
We hear about employee engagement a lot but what is it? I love Gallup’s definition because of it’s simplicity, “the involvement and enthusiasm of employees in their work and workplace.”1 With this definition in mind, it was interesting when I read Gallup’s latest survey results showing that 33% of employees are engaged in the workforce. While the percentage is the same as the year before, it still boggles my mind that more employees aren’t actively engaged in their work and workplace. This month we’ll break down the basics of employee engagement and discuss ways to increase it.
