Gallup defines employee engagement as, “the involvement and enthusiasm of employees in their work and workplace.” Without employee engagement, research supports organizations don’t realize their full potential, have lower profitability and customer loyalty, and have increased absenteeism. It’s important organizations create a culture of employee engagement to be able to compete in the marketplace, and above all else, it’s the right thing to do. I also look forward to discussing what needs employees want addressed for them to be engaged in the workplace.
