Emotionally Invested Employees

Updated: Dec 21, 2021

Here’s something to think about it…

On Tuesday, I posted an awesome quote from Simon Sinek:

“When people are financially invested, they want a return.

When people are emotionally invested, they want to contribute.”

What does emotionally invested employees look like? Typically, it’s where employees don’t think about their job as a way to earn a paycheck; emotionally invested employees want to come to work. They understand what drives them and the organization taps into their motivation and plays into their strengths. Emotionally invested employees understand how they fit in with the bigger picture of the organization and resonate with the organization’s core values, mission, and vision. They are led and empowered, given tools to do their work, and operate in a space where they can voice their concerns and ask any question as this is looked at as how people learn and exhibit their natural curiousity. In this environment, emotionally invested employees grow and feel connected to the organization.

I work with Organizations to help engage their employees to grow and with Individuals to help them thrive. If you are ready to get started, please reach out to chat.
