Signs You have a Bad Manager

Here’s something to think about it…

In my May Pulse Point, I discussed if you want a toxic culture, then you should employ bad managers. I also offered advice on what organizations, managers, and employees can do about it. Today, lets focus on the signs that you have a bad manager. Here are some: they micromanage; they are quick to blame people for mistakes; they don’t set clear expectations; they take credit for your work; they don’t give you feedback or when they do it’s not a lot or it’s irrelevant; they constantly change their mind; they obsess or hypothesize over things that aren’t even real or likely to happen; they waste your time; they gossip; none of your coworkers speak up; they are self-centered; they don’t empower you; they don’t advocate for you; it’s harder to wake up in the morning and work…

Are you ready to do something about this? I help Organizations inspire confidence back into their team for innovation and growth. I help Organizations design and implement a system that fosters and protects a strong culture where employees are heard and understood from leadership down. In doing so, individual team members can gain confidence to bravely introduce innovative ideas and grow the company. If you are ready to get started, please reach out to chat.
