Why do you Treat Your Talent Like People?

Let’s think about it…


On Tuesday, I posted an awesome quote from Oracle’s, Pamela Stroko:


“People want to know they matter and they wanted to be treated as people.

That’s the new talent contract.”



Quite frankly, if you don’t treat your talent like people, they won’t be with you for long or worse, they “quit” and stay at your organization. Given the current marketplace, employees no longer have to stay at an organization because there aren’t other opportunities available. It’s an employee market out there and if you want your talent to stay, you need to engage them which means treat them as people and show them they matter.
