Let’s think about it…
Sometimes when we face challenges, our positive attitude and outlook on life (i.e. optimism) can waver. When you are going through something, try reflecting on a time when you tackled a similar challenge. Think about how you approached and moved past the situation – just realizing you have gone through tough circumstances can improve your attitude. If you haven’t quite dealt with the obstacle you are encountering, reach out to someone who has (for example, ask a family member, friend, or colleague for advice. Or even look to your social networks to find someone who can help).
